What qualifications do the tutors have?

Tutors undergo several tests before tutoring with Tutero. They are examined not only on their subject knowledge, but also on their personal and teaching skills. Only the top 2% of applicants are selected.
Why is the success rate at Tutero so high?
There are three key reasons why Tutero has an exceptional success rate. The first is the quality of our tutors and training. The second is that tutors use software to identify gaps and create personalised learning programs. The third is that our content and resources have been written ‘by academics and are of the highest educational quality.
How does my tutor prepare for our lessons?
Tutors personalise each lesson around a student’s knowledge gaps and learning objectives. After determining the curriculum for the lesson, the tutor will ensure they have the correct questions and resources to deliver exceptional teaching and practice during the tutorial.
Can I change my tutor?
Another benefit of Tutero is that you're free to change tutors. Simply communicate this request to the Tutero team and we'll take care of the admin. If you'd like to start tutoring in another subject, we can also provide you with a tutor who is an expert in that field.
How can I contact my tutor?
Communication with your tutor is easy! The contact details of the tutor are available on the parent portal. Your tutor can answer any questions you have and provide feedback about your child’s learning.
Can parents be present during the lesson?
Parents can be present during the lesson if they would like. However, supervision isn't required. We involve parents in the process by providing reports about the child's learning progress after each lesson.
